Tho Inspector-General will-complete his South Island tour.on May 4, with an inspection of Nelson arid Marlborough troops in ■ camp at Nelson arid an inspection of Nelson and Westport Cadets. Hia North _ Island programme is as under: —May 5, train to Takapau, stay with Mr. Sidney Johnston, and inspect Wellington troops m Camp; May 6, field operations at Takapau, leave for Cambridge; May 7, Cambridge, inspect troops in camp in afternoon; May 8, field operations at Hautapit; May 9, 10, and 11, ltotorua, inspect Bay of Plenty Cadets: May 12, to Auckland to stay with His Excel : lency the Governor, inspect Hauraki and' Waikato Cadets en route; May 13, at Auckland, Mayoral reception and lunch, inspect Auckland .and North Auckland Cadets in afternoon, dine at Northern Club: May 14, inspect.Auckland Coast Defences; May lfj, to Hastings j May 16, inspect Hawke's Bay Cadots; May 17, at Hastings; May 18, to Palmerston North, inspect Manawatu Cadets, stay at>Mrs. Johnston's residonco, "Highden"; May 10, Wanganui, inspect Cadets-; May 20, New Plymouth, inspect all Tarunaki Cadets; May 21, ( tq Wellington; May 22, inspect, Wol'jiiigtan!
