Fifty Dervish horsemen fired a volley' in tho Native Bazaar at Berbenu wounding several natives. The police for ten miles fruitlessly pursued the Dervishes. The latter, when withdrawino:, fired into the smallpox hospital, and iqnited villages, killing and wounding five of tlio frieudlifts. A severer raid is reported twenty miles to the eastward.
