MEETING OF THE BOARD.' At the monthly meeting of the Wellington Technical Education Bioard, held last night, Mr. D. Kobertson presided, and there wore nlso ■ present Messrs. G. Frost, J, Smith, D. M'Laren, J. P. Luke, W. Allan,. and.W. H.- - F 'eld- • . ■. The financial statement showed that the receipts for the month amounted to £353 -is. ."id., an<l the expp.nclihiro. £813 Gs. 6d., leaving a debit balance of £494 Bs. lid. . On the motion of Mr. Luke, it was decided to place on record tho vnluablo services rendered to the board by the retiring members—Messrs. M'Laron and Smith. '• . ■ . . A letter was received from Mr. A. Leigh Hunt forwarding plans of tho engines of the wrecked steamar Devon, and expressing tho hope that they would be o£. somo service and interest to the pupils of the engineering class. It was decided to thank Mr. Hunt for the plans.
