Fanoy Dress Carnival, In connection with the Wellington Citizons' Carnival a &i;jMy a sti:ceessful lancy-dross and postef sfcitiug eareival was held in tho Qly-mpfo Sliatmg link last night. Much ears had hucn taken by tho co'mpetittsrs in selecting their costumes, wtth results that wore very creditable. Amongst the skaters were to bo seen Queen Anns consorting with a music-halt comedian; Sir Walter Raleigh hobnobbing with a chic waitress; the Knave of Hearts in happy discourso w|th a Pierette, etc. A lengthy programme was gone through, including barn 'dances, ivaltzes, a grand inarch, . and couples, and .musical squares.
