William James Jnckion, of desertion; Thomas Laws, of Talioraiti, v. Mary Catherine Laws, of Ohakuno, misconduct. Decrees were made absolute in tlio caws, of Martha. Coftc.v, of Feildinu;, v, Thos. Coffey, of Whaii^amomona; Andrew Robiiibon, of Aorangi, v. Margaivt, Robinson, now in Scotland. Judgment was given for £75 damages in fai-om , of James E. M'Clennan. who claimed £'230 from 11. J. YTpodfiold, in consequeneo of a collision with defendant's motor-car on Foxton Line,', when plaintiff's leg was injured. .His Honour said that it was alleged thatplaintiff'e ■lejr could he restored to its original condition by opnration, aiul the- question was whether this should b'e done at the expense of -tlio ratepayers or at" the expeiiso of plaintiff. Ho considered that tlio ratepayers should ]>ot pay, end therefore assessed damages as: above. Judgment «ns delivered in the claim of J, (J. Lane, commission agent; Palinerg'ioh, for £3"3, as eommission clnimed for the sale by exchange of two farms for 1 ,, . K B. ' Lovelock, Palmcrstoiu Defendant admitted authorising tho sale, but not the exejiange.
