Speaking at tho farewell gathering tendered by the staff of His Majesty's Theatre to Mr. Will Douglas, Mr. Harry Muller, tho newly-appointed general manager of the Breuna'n-Fuller Company in New Zealand, stated that tho circuit was one that probably convered a greater distance than any other vaudeville circuit on earth. It extended in Australia from Geraldton to the north of Perth, in West Australia, to Charters Towers, in tho north of Queensland, and from there right, through Now South Wales and Victoria, and in . New Zealand as far south as Dunedin. It might ' surprise peoplo to know that they (the'staff) were one.of twenty-two stalfs that were-work-ing nightly for the Brennari-Fuller Company in Australasia. Mr: Ben ; Fuller was (continued Mr. Muller). oho of the biggest figures in the theatrical life of Australia, and, casting round for a strong man to relieve hinl of some of tho v 'routine, work, ho had selected Mr. Douglas, who, ho was.sure, would soon bb the managerial head of tho whole circuit.
