Kirkpatrick (AgentGeneral for South Australia) gavo a reception to Sir Harry Galway, tho new-ly-appointed Governor of South Australia at tho Trocadoro. Among ,those present were:—lord ' Emraott (UnderSecretary at tho Colonial Office), Sir John Anderson (Permanent Under-Secre-tary of State for trie Colonies), Mr. A. E. Collins (of the Colonial Office), Mr. Denham (Premier of Queensland), and tho Agents-General for othor Australian States.
