CHARGE AGAINST A CHINESE. Gee Guie, a Chinese, was charged before- Mr, W. G. Biddell, -S.Jli., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday with having assaulted Katlilceu Van Caut, and with being an kilo- and disordorly person, Mr. J. F. W; Dickson entered a plea of ji-ot guilty on behalf of the accused, and also applied for a- remaad to March 13. .
The Magistrate granted the remand ■and fixed bail at £40.

Mrs. E. Wilson pleaded guilty to a charge of failing, to keep a wages and time-book showing the number of howrs worked by assistants. Sho was ordered to pay Court easts 9s.
