UPPER HUTT TOWN BOARD

At the meeting of the Upper Hntt Town Board on Monday Mr. R. H. AVobb (chairman) presided. The offer of H. AV. Shaw to lay an experimental section of. his new reinforced concrete free of charge was referred to the Works Committee to select a suitable site, for the same.

, Tho Valuation Department wrote stating that tho valuation of the Town District was now proceeding and asking for the name of the board's assessor. It was resolved to reappoint Mr. John T. Benge, ho having previously acted in that- capacity at a special Assessment Court last year provided he is willing to act.

It was resolved by six votes to' one (Commissioner Edwards dissenting) that persons outsido the town district .area might be supplied with water'at 2s. pdr 1000 gallons with a minimum charge of £5 per annum and paying all costs in connection with the installations.
