Stephenson, who conceded Miss Roberts : starts of 150 in the first game,, and 200 in'the second, was in good form, and • had very. , little .difficulty in ' defeating his Jady opponent,. who has . not yet fully* recoveied from her trip across from' Australia.. \ Stephenson made breaks.of 70, 58, 55, 45, and 44, while the best that Miss Roberts could compile were 38. 29, and 21, At tho con■clufjion of . tho oveninp sessions, Stephenson gave an exhibition of fancy shots, and also played an exhibition game of snooker with an amateur, scoring an easy win by 7G points to 11.
