A well-attended meeting of delegates of trades unions was held on Wedensday evening to discuss a scheme of unity emanating from the Trades Council, and providing for an organisation, on sound industrial lines. Amongst the subjects discussed was a proposal to acquire an up-to-date Trade-, Hall, which was looked upon with favour by those present. Reports of tho business transacted will be. made by tho delegates to their respective unions-
