MIRAMAR AFFAIRS

The Miramar Borough Council met hist evening, the Mayor (Mr.. F. Townsend) presiding. Councillors Dr. Edith lluiitly Smith, Traccy, and Stone were also present. The slot telephone at Miramar, which has hitherto been attached to a wall in the tram waiting-shod,, will in future, the council decided, upon the suggestion of the Post and Telegraph Department, be enclosed in a cabinet similar to those, in use in the city. The. council agreed with Postmaster's suggestion that mails for Miramar should lie convoyed to their destination per tram car. It was decided to mako;a further application to the Justice.
