The prosecution stated that Doroen. was found wandering the. streets of AYcllington in 1903,' aged 'seven/and was committed to institutions where he remained till he absconded from 'Burnhiim in 1913. Apart from'absconding'his conduct had been good. He married under a false name. His Honour said Doreen had been unfortunate fii starting life, , ' but in absconding from the institution ho showed no natural depravity. He was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
