A resolution to bo moved at Sunday's demonstration •condemns the deportations, Welcomes the, deported men, and demands'their-return to South Africa. It further summons the Imperial Government to withhold assent to tho Indemnity Bill. The Management Committee rejected, by a small majority, an additional, clause in favour of a twenty"-iour-hours' striko unless- tho Government- acceded to the terms of tho resolution. MR. CRESSAVELL, M.P. CANDID DECLARATION. . (Rcc. February 24, 0.20 a.m.) •[ Pretoria, February 23. Mr. Cresswell, M.l'., the Labour candidate to represent,Krugersdorp on the 1 rovinml Council, addressing the electors, declared that the deported men were out of it now; .and, as far as ho was concerned, they could remain out; He would light against party fanaticism until it- was cleaned out. None of the audience protested. '
