Buyers were present, and a- brisk sale resulted, every- pen selline; freely under the hammer, at prices in favour of the vendors. Quotations:—Sheep: Cull lambs, 4s. 2d.: medium lambs, 7s. Id. to 7e. 7d.; eood lambs, 9s. 6d. to 10s.; cull ewes, 65.; s.m. ewes, lis., 12s. lCd.. 13s. Id., 13s. 2d., 15s. 3d., 14s. 3d., to 14s. lid.: fat ewes, 15s. 6d.; mixed two-tooths. 15s. Fat cattle sold without change and, though fat lambs were Irregular, thero was little change in value except for heavy lambs', which were easier. Store sheep met with good competition, and .pigs sold at advanced rate 3. Fat sheep sold well at the opening of the sale.
