Tho now Mara* hau dairy factory was burned to the ground, nothing being saved, and tho beautiful scenie reserve near tho township was destroyed by a, firo which was caused by sparks from passing railway, engines. It is understood that an immediate start wilt be made to build a new' dairy factory, but tho interruption of operations, nevertheless, will bo rather serious for suppliers.
