Mr. Ramsay MncDouald, Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party, in a speech at Nelson, Lancashire, said that tho Labour Party intended during the present session to introduce amendments more olten than in.any other session, and niako demsnds in connection therewith. If tho Government met them they proposed to withdraw the amendments. It °i os °W> sc d tne withdrawn! the Labour members tfmild vote against their own amendments.

Ho added that unless the Labourites got concessions, the amendments would bo carried to divisions. He appealed for a still stronger Labour Party, contending thali with a hundred members in the party they ought tw be able to rule tho Commons, turn out the Governments, and enter office.
