SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION.
The annual meeting of the Wellington ■Sunday .School Union was held in tho manager's warn of St. John's Church on Thursday evening. _ In the unavoidable absence of tho president, Mr. H. T. H. Grave, vice-president, occupied the chair."-There, was-a good attendance of delegates, including three ladies. Apiti Methodist.School applied tor affiliation, and .was' accepted as a member of the union, A vote of sympathy with Mf, J. tl. W: Aitken in Ins. illness was passed, reference being made to the hearty support which the. union had received from Mir, Aitker. in the past. An invitation was received fromt he schools at Feildifig to hold the' Teachors' Convention there during the Easter holidays. The invitation was accepted. It was decided that the scholars' examination bo hold as usual on the second Friday in July, the same examiners as last year to fee' asked to undertake the examination. A hearty vote o.f thanks for services rendered during the past two years was accorded to the retiring president, Mr. R. A- Wright. Officers for 1914 were elected as follow President, Mr.-H.'T. JL Grave; vice-president, Mr. Alexander Johnston ; secretary, Mr. H. 3. Tttempsoii; treasurer, Air, W. G. Holdsworth; secretary of International Bible Reading Association, Mr. Howard Grave; visitors, Messrs. W. Allan and R. B. Davis; auditor, Mr. H. B. Groaott.
