(From Our Ssecikl Correspondent,) The Hope of Fetonc Lodge of Good Templars, .No. 187, held their, weekly !-meeting 'in Banfnrly Hall, Sydney Street, Petone. Bio. S. Taylor, P.C.T., presided over the meeting which was fairly well attended. The ■ AVellington District executive paid a visit to the Hope of Petone. After the business of tho lodge had been transacted a recess I was granted in which tfeo Harmony Cnmmitteo arranged a programmo for the. evening, the following contributing items-:—Bro. Donaldson, Sis. Rigarls•ford, sen., Sis. Job, Bro. liigiam, Bfo.. Montgomery, Bro. Rose. During the evening light refreshments were handed round by tho Harmony Committee. Bro. Ingram, D.C.T., installed'Bro. J. Rosn to the ■office of C.T. of the Hope of Potbne. Bro. Rigarlsford, Grand Lodge treasurer, and Bro. Weslon acted as installing marshals; A vote, of appreciation was passed to the district executive, and also district lodge- member for their attendance. ; '■ A concert was given inthe hall at Ta'ita on Wcdnosdny evening, in aid of itho'Methodist Church Trust' Fund, and tho programmo of .instrumental and Vocal items was appreciated by a fair audiou.ee. ' ' ' , The anniversary social reunion of the Petone Methodist Christian En-' dcavour Society was hold last evening. The Rev. J. J. Lewis presided, and tho chief speaker was the Rev. , ].'. J.
