It was suggested that possibly the Carnival Committee could arrange to hold their 1915 carnival in conjunction with the celebrations. Tho carnival to commence on Monday, January 18, and' run for a week. Special efforts are being made for tho citizens to treat this.weeK as a real carnival week; special trains' to run from all parts of the eauntry to Wellington; school children to be carried free, or at reduced rates, and spe- . cial reduced tickets to be issued to all settlors, over a certain age.
