Estell, commercial superintendent for the Port of London Au- " thority, addressed a meeting of about 250 leading business men pn Monday night, placing before his ai.dience facts concerning the conditions prevailing at London for handling frozen meat. He was accordcd a splendid hearing. . The county chairman (Mr., F. L. Gordon) and Councillors T. Mason Chambers, T. TC. Crosse,T. Clark, and the engineer (.Mr. C. D. Kennedy) have heen ' appointed to deputationisc the Minister oi Public Works at Wellington'on February 20.
