..—^—* COMING ASHORE ON BEACH. (By Telesraph— Special Correspondent.) Wanganui, February 9. Word was received in town to-day that large numbers of cases of benzine were coming ashoro along tho beach between tile Turakina and Rangitikei Rivors. No doubt the benzino has come from the ill-fated Moa, but it is rather remarkablo that it was.not all destroyed considering that tho steamer was in llanies for nearly twelve hours. It may bo that, when tho explosion which took placo aboard tho boat about 8 o'clock occurred, tho vessel's sides were blown out, and many cases which wero intact fell into the sea. It is said that one party at Turakina has gathered in over .80 cases, and another party at Rangitikei secured some 60 cases.
