MASTERTON SHOW.
Tho attractive programme which' has been drawn up for the public in connection with tho Masterton show on Tues.day and Wednesday, February 17 and 18, and the special railway facilities for carrying them to and from the great stock fair, should , ensure a larger attendance than ever before recorded in tho history of the ■ association. In tho stock section special prizes and trophies innumerable are offered, in addition/to increasing cash prizes.given by the association. Tho Now Zealand "eliampionsiri'ps in Lincoln rams and ewes will be decided at Sohvaj , this year, white the Lawes silver cup, valued at- 25 guineas, will be , awarded to the best Lincoln ram under twenty-ono months. In tho Rc-ro-ney Marsh section tho'Brancepeth Cup, valued at 25 guineas, and the Perrysalver, valued at 20 guineas, will be among tho trophies to he won,- and in Southdowns tho CJlenside Cup, vaSuesl at 15 guineas, and Mr. J. Stuckey's citsk prize- of £i 0 for the best ram under 21 months, should again produce keen competition. From ail exhibitor's point of view probably no iat stock show in New Zealand is equal to the Solway exhibition/
