Two vessels from India, which were anchored close to the 6hore near Buzrah, on the Persian Gulf, Were attacked ,by pirates, Tho crews in a, panic es» eaped in the boats. leaving their skippers to fight the battle alone, Armed with rifles, tho captains gallantly defended themselves until one was shot dead and the other badly wounded, The pirates then looted, the vessels and disappeared into the desert,
