Prices were well up to lato rates, and with tho exception of ono or two'.small lines, wo effected a clearance under tho hammer. Four-tooth ewes, 16a.10d.;. s.m.. owes, 10a. 7d„ 125., 13s. 2d.; f.f.m. ernes, 10s. to 13a 4d.; cull ewea, 4s. Bd. to Bs. 6d.; woolly lambs, Bs. 3d.: shorn, lambS, 3s. to Es. 3d.; fat ewes, 16s. 4d.; wetiner heifers, 245., 285., 305.; weaher, steers, 18a. to 245.; two-year, steers, £4 175.; two and a half-year steers,' £6 10s. 6d.: three-year bullocks, £8; eighteon-months heifers, in calf\ £4; dairy heifer 3, £2 ss. to £3 ICe.; dairy cowfl, £4 to £8 15s. Tho tono of tho market was much hotter than at last sale, e. fact mainly due to the recent raine. Competition for all/lots was fairly keen, and .a clearance was effected. A lino' of 300 f.m.
