MILITARY CADETS
All of the candidates far the Military College at Duntroon, New South Wales, who passed tho "University examination have been approved by the Defence Department, and nine out of the ten will enter the- college whew tho new term commences in March. Theso nine are:— W. Ivory (Wellington), J\ B, Jordan <Auekknd), J. T.' Kibblewhite (Oa.maru), L. 6. Goss (New Plymouth), D. H. W, H. Donaldson (Wellington), G. B Parkinson (Wellington), K. L. Stewart (Wanganui), R, S. Park (Dunedin), D. L. Duncan (Wellington). J. M. MacDonakl, of WRuganui, passed all tests, and was also approved, but has elected not to go to Duntroon. The new cadets have to be at the College about March 11, and will leave New Zealand on-March 6. It will bo some 1-imo yet before the first set-of eigiit eadets who entered the eollcgo in June. 1911, return to New Zealand. Their course at Duntroon will bo completed at the end of this year, and they will then Ijo sent to England or India, and attached to units for training purposes. About eighteen months will be occupied in this way, so that none of the cadets may be expected here before about the end of 1019.
