LEVEL CROSSINGS

NEW RAILWAY BY-LAWS/ ' New by-laws regulating tlio uso of level railway crossings by vobiolos have been gazetted as follow.:— . ', -..,..., ■ 1. No person' in charge of. a motor vehicle or driving a motor vehicjo on or a'.jng any road or street shall approach 'd railway level crossing within 100 yards of' Such orossirig without slackening speed to a rate not exceeding ten miles, an hour; arid every porson-in charge of or driving a motor vohiolo shall 'stop beforo coming in contact with the Taifway lino, and shall keep a, vigilant lookout for approaohing traitis, and shall not attempt to _ cross tho railway lino unless the hno is clear. • '•
