The teachers resigned; owing to the anithori* ties refusing a scale of salaries equal to ■tliatin other Counties,. The National Union of Teachers will guarantee- the strikers' salaries for five yearsi -also .tp sustain for three months' uneertifteated teachers not belonging- to tho union.
