LIVE STOCK SALES.
The New Zealand Loan and MercantileAgency Co., Ltd., T6port:-At Eketahuna on Friday we had a fair, entry of- sheep and cattle. Sheej/ sold readily, but-cattle met with a very draßging sale. The following prices were realised:—Two-tooth wethers, 153. 4d.; two-tooth ewes, 15s 3d ; forward ewes. 12s. 6d.; aged ewes, 7s. 6d.

Competition throughout the sale was brisk, and we are pleased to report almost o total clearance under the heinmer at very satisfactory prifcs. Tho following are our principal sales :-Two-tooth-wethere. 14s. 4d. to 14s. Bd.; fall-month ewes, Bs. Id. to Bs. Vd.; cull ewes, 6s. Id.; shorn ltoibs, Bs.
