SUNDAY CONCERT.

The Wellington City Band lias been requested by several of its patrons to give a concert before leaving for tho Auckland E-xhibition contest, so that the citizens of Wellington may have mi opportunity of hearing tho "test" sclec> tions to be given at tho contest. The band will thsrofote- give a concert at His Majesty's Theatre to-morrow ovening, and Mr. Hamilton Hodges has consented to sing (by special request), "Tho Lost Chord," with band accompaniment, and other items. Mr. D. .T. Evims, tho papular Welsh tenor, will sing "Land of the Harp," etc. A silver twin collection will bo mado in aid ef tho band's contesting expenses.
