j REGULATIONS GAZETTED. Hie following regulations made mulct tho Fisheries Act, 1908, for generally regulating sea-fishing in the waters of the Dominion are . published in the Gazette: —
1, In these regulations'. the term "Jong siho'' shall mean and include lines set, mdored, or placed for tlio purposo.of taking fish;- but shall not mean or inelude deep "hand-lines,", . . 2, No long lino sot, moored, or plated foi tho, purpose- of taking fish shall bo left for a longer period than two hours without being attended to and the fish taken off
3. Tho registered owner or master of any'fishing-boat who. engages, in longlirie fishing shall distinctly mark tho loiters and registered number of such boat on e.iieli mark-buoy or object to which lie has a long .line attache:!..
4. Any person committing a breach of.the above.regulations is■ liable to a ■ftiie ttf not less than £land not exceeding £20.
