ON LINER "MAMAfiI. Yesterday the local office of the Shaw SaviJl and Albion Company rerSiml advice from Napier to the effect that Mr Wynd, chief engineer of tho Mamari' Jiad been.accidentally killed. The , l( {. vico stated, tliat tho company's vessel had arrived at Napier from Ilobart direct yesterday morning, and soon after her arrival Mr. W.vnd accidentally fell a biinker hold. He received very nerious injuries, causing dentil. It is. understood that this was the first voyago which Mr. Wynd had njade as chief, engineer. As far as is known here, deceased was about 35 jvars of age.. 116 was .popular with nil" who knew Imii. Tlie funeral is to take place at Napier.
