THE OWNER OF THE ISLAND OF LONAI. (Ree. January 29, 10.25 p.m.) New York, January 29. The death is announced of Mr. William Irwin, the millionaire owner of t.he' Island of Lfinai, in tho Hawaiian Group, which he purchased in 1909 for the suin of four shillings. The fact of Mr. Irwin, a British subject, owning American territory, created international complications, but tho United States Court uphold Mr. Irwin's title.
