This remarkable record was recently mada by Mr. H. P. Michael, Dayton, Ohio. After driving 550 miles, remaining at the wheel continually for 2G hours and 10 minutes, Mr. Michael was relieved hy his brother, Paul B. Michael, who drovo 220 miles. H. P. Michael then took the wheel and completed the 1069 miles. Not oven, the car was stopped in this distance, all fuel being taken on while in motion. The route to and from Day. ton included Toledo, Jamestown, Cincinnati, Baton, and London. The test was completed between Columbus and Dayton. Tho average consumption of gasoline Was a gallon every 21 miles, and the averagespeed was 21.38 miles per hour. Mr. Michael's report is sworn to hy officials in the car.
