Mr. J. Ramsay Mac Donald, M.P., defended tho party's support of tho Goveminent, on tbo ground that it did not soo aay reason to turnout "TAVeedle(lnm" for "Tweedledeo." Ho v-ebeuieiit-lv denied that tliefft had been secret bargains, and added tliat it was the party's duty to support the party makiiif* the best offer. The conference, by a largo majority, approved the party's policy.
