The price, paid for water from the Government water-races at Wcstbvook (Kuniani) is beginning to agitnle tho minds of the miners there and some steps will be taken shortly to approach the Government to have tiro price reduced. The miners state that the rate is in excess of that which they expoetcd to pay when tho race was extended to tho north side of the river. It is slated that since the beginning of the present year only one party is really using the water. The Mines Department utato that the charge for water is really low and tho rocngiiisod rate all over the Roldh'ehls.
