At tho last mooting of the Walumnui. Hospital' Board, a cheque for .£'JOO from Mrs. (Dr.) l>oy<3, of faihape. was received, the sum having been collected on behalf of tho Taihapo Nursing League. Tho board was asked to secure tho Government subsidy. Mr. Battle pointed out that tho Audit Department had ta";en exception to a similar application. and tho board desired to know the local position.
