Rifleman Dell was consistent J with 40 at tho first range and 43 at tho j second, while Rifleman Collinß put on j 30 and 43. With handicaps of 6 and 3 j respectively, both secured ammunition prizes. Rifleman Franldyn, scratch, made 41 and 42, while President Rabe, without a handicap, made 40 and 42. The club also fired three teams' matches of five men each for thc'challonge badges presented by Mr. C. AV. Martin. Mr. ytandidge, captain of 1 tho team holding the badges, was unablo to be present, j awl by consont Rifleman Frankfvn shot ! in his place. The holders were successful in retaining the badges. ■ The Highland Rifle Club fired the fourth match of the third scries (seven shots , at 800 and 900 yards), also the final of the Club Championship and the final of tho Long Range Aggregate, at Trentham. Tho iLnal of the Club Championship proved a very exciting contest, Rifleman Cotterill winning with a score of ,520 points, Rifleman Pitt being second with 523 points,, and Rifleman Conibear third with 508 points. The, Long Range Aggregate resulted in a win for Rifleman Mofis&n, with a score of 213 points, Rifleman Cotterill being second with a score of 211, The annual -match to have been fired oit Saturday between tho Karori and Suburbs Clubs was postponed, out of rcspcct to the memory of tho late Rifleman Plimmer., ■ .
