Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report hat ing held their fortnightly sale of stock at Danncvirlfo ou Friday-; when tliero was a largo entry of sheep and a fair yardiuc of cattle. The bulk of -the sheep consisted of lambs. There was Rood competition for grown slieep and good lambs* but medium and inferior lambs were neglected. Most of tho cattle entered did not reach the ven* dors' reserves. Fat bullocks and medium quality realised £8 10s. to £6 155.; fat cows, £6 10s. to £4- 155.; 2 to 2i-year steers, £4 126. Cd.j store cows, £4 oa. 4d. to £3 17s. 6d.; cull weaners, 165.; fat owes, 14a. lOd. to Ife.; fat lambs, 145.; 2-tooth wethers, 15s. 6d.; woolly lambs, 103. 7d. to 9s. Id.; cull lambs, 3s. 6d. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—We held the first of our weekly sales at Levin on Friday, when we yarded a largo entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle to a attendance of buyers. Bidding on all, lines was very brisk, and we have to report almost a total clearance under tho hammer. Tho following were some of the sales effected. Sheep; 67 fat owes, 16s. 9d.; 173 tip-top rape lambs, lis. 6d.; 400 rape lambs, 9s. 6a.; 100 small lambs, 76. 4d.; '50 2-tooth sheep (smell), 13s.
