.5' A.M. ■ WORKMEN'S SERVICE BY 25 CLERGYMEN. The record number of twenty-five elurgymen officiated at- a communion ser< vice in St. Mary's Church, Kingston, I ortsmouth, on Thursday, December 4. In order to give dockyardmcu and otter working men an opportunity of attending, the seryico was hold at five o'clock iiv tho morning. It was a striking success. The church was crowded and the communicants numbered over a thousand, mostly working men. Canon Bilboroiigh took tho service mid was assisted by twenty-four other clergy. The oJtar rails were specially extended down iiie geriiter part of the church to facilitate tho service, which , occupied about an hour, it was the culminating point of a great parochial mission, tho first in the parish'for-twenty years.
