Prebendary Webster urged the necessity <)f some alteration in present-day dress. Ho hardly knew, ho said, what to do sometimes" when he found himself sitting in an omnibus opposite some lady who wore open dress. It was most disturbing, and was a spcctaclc calculated to sow tlie seeds of passion, in men. It was uot right, pretested the speaker, that when walking through tho public streets or riding in public conveyances men should bo thlis exposed to these unseemly exposures.
