Richard Marsh shot. his wife .and. then ■ committed suicide, tho evidence showed, that Mrs. Marsh had been separated from her husband, owing to the latter' taking to drink. ■ She returned to the house a few davs before the tragedy. ' ;V : " - * Tho son deposed that his parents had boon quarrelling, v Ris mother had asked him to take down ~a picture of his sister, to prevent the father from breaking it. The mother then stood in front of it, and the] father said ■ he would shoot her Unless she stood side. ■- She replied: "You aro not game!" S Two fatal shots followed, . After the tragedy the sister's picture was.found riddled with bullets. , .... A verdict c-f murder, and.'suieide was returned..
