Women's Political .Reform Ueagfie, The first meeting for the New' Year nf the Wanganui "branch of the Women's Political Reform League Was held on Monday afternoon, in Dustin's Rooms. .There was a good attendance. After the business concluded, Mr. Geo. Hutchison gave a very fine address, the subject being "The Leading Feature Last Session,'and the, Future of . Labour." The address was much appreciated by those present. The enthusiasm of-this-branch is well maintained, and as the year-advances towards the general election the increase of members will, it is hoped; do much towards assisting in the 'interests of Sir. Massoy and the-Reform-Party, 'Wanganui Notes. A very enthusiastic meeting was held on Monday evening at the Wanganui Borourrh Chambers by those iiiterestwl in the beautii'yinij of'the town, It was decided to hold a carnival on' March 21 in aid of the funds. Mr. W. IT. Gilison was appointed general secretary, Mrs. F. Suistcd secvetiii'v f-or the l'adios' committee, and Mr* Cyril {ioldsbury organiser.
