PRODUCERS ALARMED. By TAlccraph-l'rccs Afeociatlon-Copyricht (Rec. January 22, 11.20 p.m.) New York, January 21. Governor Godding, of Idaho, addressing the American National Live Stock Association at Denver, said that the clay of conflict between the sheepmen and cattlemen of Western America was now past. The Government, also, had commercialised the grazing lands. This was wrong. Australia was able to lay its shctp and beef products down at Boston at less price than tho Americans wore able to ship them from tho Western ranges. Tho American producers, he said, were entitled to bo placed on equal terms with Australia. The speaker advocated a radical reduction of the Government's grazing charges, in viow of tho Australian competition. . -
