SHIPWRECKED SAILORS RESCUED.
THRILLING ACHIEVEMENT IN RAGING SEAS. BY LUSITANIA'S CREW. By Telegraph-Press Assoclation-CoDrrißht London, January 20. The Cunard liner Lusitania, homeward bound, encountered the wooden brigantinc May Flower (159 tons), of "St. Johns (Newfoundland), in a sinking condition. The first officer of the Lusitania (Mr. Alexander), with a volunteer crew, launched the steamer's lifeboat, but it was impossible to reach tho brigantine. They threw a lino and lifebelts, and rescued the crew, dragging them through a raging sea.
