— -»•— —- HULL A MENACE. At last night's meeting of the Wellington Karboar Boards Mr. R. Fletcher (the chairman) reporter that nothing further had been crone regarding the removal of tiro hull of the steamer Devon, which was wrecked near the entrance to the harbour. He suggested that, tho board should not press unduly, but give those who were, doing the work over? chance. A member: What is the positionr 1 Sir. Fletcher: We issued instruction* that tile hull was to be removed, as it is a menace to the navigation of Old port; the lower level light was.obscured. Tlw matter was held over for a further report, which is to be Made at the next board meeting.
