; SUMMARY ANO FORECAST.^ Present indications arc for moderate-' to strong northerly and westerly winds, warm and humid conditions, cloudy and foggy ct times, especially in and southward of Cook Strait. The barometer has a falling tendency. Strong westerly winds were experienced and a little rain fell in the eouth during the night, but, the day has proved warm and fine, though cloudy and focsr.v in parts.
