' A large number of pens came forward of only medium 'quality, for which there was an uneven demand. Good quality lambs were largely competed for at Is. per head advance on last week's rate-s. Trices were very firm' for all sorfis yarded, and they were well competed for. Prices ranged from £2 19s. 6d. to £4 7s. for baconers, stores making from £1 6s. 6d. upwards.
