The Extended Mine, in which operations were first recommcnced, has now over '200 men at work underground, while 53 miners, truckers, shiftmen, etc., resumed ivork in Ralph's Mine this morning. As ilio total number of men employed <in and about the two mines usually exceeds 500 there is still a considerable shortago. Most of tho miners who were refused admission to the new union are leaving lluntly and seeking work elsewhere and their places ill town are heing taken by a number of newcomers. A feeling of pronounced bitterness still exists between the Arbitralionists and r.x-strik-ers' and a liro which destroyed a wharc on Saturday night during the absence of its occupant, an Arbitrationist worker, is regarded as having suspicions features.
