The fight was stopped bv ono of tlio. Harilcto's officers, ■and wlieu Ah Forr'realised tho damage which ho had''.inflicted on his opponent lio ran asiiom. Tho fugitive was met by Constable Price, of Kilbirme, and taken to tlio Hospital. Dr. do Latoai attended to Ho To and stitched tho ' Bailer and Constable Price, accompanied by a Chinese interpreter, visited tho Harflete later in tlio day, and after having made searching ..inquiries it was 'decided that.no action, as far as the police" are concerned, would bo taken at present,' and therefore no ; arrests were made.
